Champions of DreamHack Denver 2017 gained $25 mn investments
On the weekend, DreamHack Open Denver 2017 in CS:GO came to its end. The winner Cloud9 gained $50 000. However, the team has won even larger financial prizes recently. This Monday, the information about $25 m investments allocated to Cloud9 got leaked.
The list of new investors includes World Wrestling Entertainment, Beverly Hills Sports Council, a baseball player Hunter Pence as well as a co-owner of Monumental Sports & Entertainment Raul Fernandez.
During the interview with the sports publication ESPN, the owner of the multigaming organization Cloud9 told that the funds are most likely to be invested in a new training center in Los Angeles.
