TI7 winner and Prince of Jordan opened eSports training center

The victory of Team Liquid in the world championship on Dota 2 was a significant event not only for fans of the discipline. In the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, an eSports training center was opened and an e-sports committee was established under the State Olympic Committee.

The opening ceremony was attended by Team Liquid player and Jordanian citizen Amer al-Barqawi, known under the nickname Miracle-, as well as the Prince of the Kingdom Omar bin Al Faisal.

The results of The International 7 convinced the country government of the need for the industry development. E-sports athletes trained in the facility will receive the full support of the state. Moreover, Jordan is going to conduct a policy of attracting young people to e-sports.
